About Me
I was born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada on March 30,1984. I attended St. Joseph Elementary School, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall, and Widdifield Secondary School.
I always enjoyed drawing and painting. All through school, my assignments were embellished with sketches to enhance the story I was telling. Most people weren't surprised to see me go on to study art.
My formal art training was taken at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in the spring of 2007 with a major in painting and drawing.
I have experimented with style over the last few years, but for the most part I tend to paint "people pictures" in a stylized version of reality. I am not afraid to embellish an otherwise traditional painting on canvas with needlework, ribbons or cogwheels.
For my viewers and for me, art is an adventure.
